CC Vision:

Classical Conversations exists to empower parents in the academic teaching of their children through Parent Practicums; as well as establish and support Classical Christian Communities that enable parents everywhere to equip their children with (1) a Biblically-based world view and (2) the classical “tools of learning”, in order to impact the world for God’s glory.

The purpose of study is to know God and to make Him known.

According to Scripture, this is the responsibility of the parent and family; not the state nor the church. God established the state to administer justice and the Body of Christ to spread the gospel. In the words of R.L. Dabney, "The Church's duty is to instruct parents on how God would have them rear their children, and enforce the duty by spiritual sanction; but there its official power ends. It does not usurp the doing of the important task it inculcates."

According to Proverbs 24:3-4, the stages of learning are knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Therefore, the mission of Classical Conversations is to assist parents in their endeavor to give their children the knowledge of God, the understanding of who He is, and the wisdom to obey Him. Due to the uniqueness of Classical Conversations it is necessary to state that we are not a school. We are strictly a service to parents who want guidance in using a challenging Christian, classical curriculum and an opportunity for their students to practice their rhetorical skills while receiving tutoring in difficult subject areas.
